Features Overview

WebSpace Factory Features Defined:

Pages – are places for you to define what content you want to present to visitors to your site.

Page Location

Main Page – is a page that shows as an item on the main menu throughout your entire site.

Child Page – is a page that shows underneath another item (parent page) already on the main menu.

Page Types – are categories of pages that serve a specific purpose:

Content Page Type – gives you the ability to add custom content to your site. Each content page has 3 content zones (left, center, right). Click on the Add Content menu to add an existing content module or create a new content module.

Content Modules – are predefined templates for different kinds of information. The current templates include:

Tutorial_Module_Pic01.jpgAnnouncements – provide a title, link, description, and expiration date for any company details.

Contactsprovide a name, title, email and 2 optional contact information fields for phone number or address.

Events – provide a title, description, where/when, start/end date, and expiration date for each event.

Html Content – build, format and edit content with an online editor that is as easy to use as your favorite word processor

Image – upload, resize the displayed image, and select the image alignment.

Links – create hyperlinks to other web sites.

Documents – upload any file such as .doc or .pdf files to make them available for download from your site.

Mail List – create and send newsletters to an email subscriber list.

Placeholder Page Type – shows no content for the page on the menu. This type of page is intended for the purpose of ‘holding’ Child Pages.

Link Page Type – this page type allows you to show content while maintaining your header and footer or you can should the content in a new window. There are 3 different Link Page you can define:Tutorial_Page_Pic04.gif

Another Site – use this link page if you want to show content from a other than your own.

Page on this Site – use this link if you want to link to a page that already exists on your site.

Document on this Site – use this link to build a link directly to a document that you have uploaded to a Documents module.
